We understand that for many patients, taking impressions for dental implants and bridges can be an uncomfortable experience. That’s why we’ve invested in the Medit i900 Intraoral Scanner a cutting-edge solution designed to make your treatment as smooth and stress-free as possible.
The Medit i900 replaces traditional impression materials with advanced digital scanning technology. Using high-speed video capture and precision imaging, it creates a detailed 3D model of your mouth without the mess, discomfort, or need for x-rays.
The scanning process is completely non-invasive and can be completed in a single appointment. Once captured, your digital impression is sent directly to the lab, ensuring a faster turnaround and a more accurate fit for your dental implant or bridge.
Picasso Lite Plus Dental Laser
Laser dentistry enables practitioners to manage soft tissue procedures in a clinically effective manner. Few local anaesthesias are required, with more predictable treatment results, and reduced post-operation pain.
It is a highly versatile technique that allows practitioners to perform more procedures in less time, without sacrificing patient care and comfort.
Laser surgery is also substantially less invasive, meaning less bleeding during the procedure. There is also little to no recession and swelling after the operation.
Piezotome Solo (LED) Ultrasonic Bone Surgery
The Piezotome Solo integrates the most reliable and safe components of ultrasonic pre-implant surgery. This device offers greater comfort for the patient and the practitioner, allowing numerous applications including bone surgery, tooth extractions and crown lengthening.

OPG/CBCT Machine
On-site 3D Scans and Panoramic Dental Imaging
At Pain Free Dental Clinic, our CBCT and OPG machine allows us to take detailed dental images right here at the practice, making assessment and treatment planning more convenient for our patients.
3D imaging for detailed treatment planning
CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) produces three-dimensional images of your teeth and jawbone. For dental implant planning, these images help us assess the available bone and locate important structures, such as nerve canals and sinuses. This information helps us plan implant positions and assess whether bone grafting may be needed. CBCT can also assist with selected complex cases, including impacted wisdom teeth.
A wider view of your dental health
An OPG is a panoramic X-ray that captures your upper and lower teeth and jaws in a single two-dimensional image. It provides an overview that can help us assess wisdom teeth, tooth development and changes in the jawbone.
Convenient imaging, tailored to your needs
Both scans are non-invasive, with the machine moving around your head while you remain still. Having this technology on site can reduce the need for a separate visit to an imaging centre and helps us explain your findings and treatment options.
We recommend imaging only when clinically necessary and select the type of scan according to your individual needs.
